A 16 years old boy presented to our clinic in year 2014 with severe anterior crowding, very narrow dental arc. He is "smile-less" and "talk-less" because he concerned about his unpleasant smile. He also complaint of difficulty in keep his oral hygiene due to the severe crowded teeth.

Total treatment time was 46 months, completed in January 2018. Time spent mostly on developed his jaws and dental arches. This jaws development is important to provide space for his tongue, so that the oral-muscular complex are in harmony, also further assured the stability of the teeth after treatment completed. Fixed retainer was bonded on anterior teeth to maintain its position till fully re-calcification of bone, and overlay clear retainer fro night time wearing. 1 year follow up review shown the new occlusion is stable.
Materials and Method
Damon Q braces, a passive self ligating (PSL)system was used for this patient, because this brackets system can easily expand the dental arch to create space to resolve the crowding. Damon Q also known as the best passive self ligation (PSL) system in the market, due to its ability to expand the dental arch physiologically, therefore reduce the orthodontic extraction needs in many cases.
